This Sanctuary provides a great opportunity to watch about 22 of these endangered creatures in their natural home as they freely roam around 7000 hectares of Land. On this 1 Day Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Tour, you will have breakfast at about 6:00am then drive up North for about 3hours. It is ideal to track the Rhinos before the weather gets extremely warm as this provides better opportunities of sighting them while they feed and walk around. As soon as you arrive at the sanctuary, you will be warmly welcomed and taken through an informative briefing process by the Rangers after which the tracking on foot will commence. You will spend a maximum of 1 hour in the presence of these magnificent creatures and will be able to visit different groups and families if they are within close range. Kindly heed to the Ranger’s advice during the briefing process as it’s important to have adequate knowledge on how best to behave during the trek.
