Masai Mara National Reserve, commonly known as "Masai Mara" is one of the world's most magnificent game reserves named after the Maasai people who live and graze their animals here in the park. It borders Tanzania as a northern extension of the Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. Mara is a reference to the light plays and shadows from the acacia trees and cloud-studded skies on the vast grasslands. Learn about the culture, food and lifestyle of the friendly Masai people with us, you'll enjoy the awesome support of our team and tour handlers.

The park is famous for the Great Migration, from July through October when thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson's gazelles travel to and from the Serengeti. The park is also known for hosting all members of the "Big Five” (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Cape buffalo, and Rhinoceros), large populations of lion, cheetah, and leopard. It's situated in the south-west of Kenya, covering an area of 1510 square km, approximately 270km from Nairobi, Kenya's capital and largest city.
